The strain of the coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on the community, with thousands being infected and some fighting for their lives. 

Countries around the world including our own are still struggling for a better tomorrow—which some concerned individuals, including stars, also pray for.  In the meantime, they have reached out and made efforts to help disadvantaged communities get by, and be inspired to live out their lives, one prayerful and hopeful day at a time.

Anne Curtis’s passion project Dream Machine was able to donate 50 gallons of alcohol and 3000 pieces of gloves to the medical staff of the San Lazaro Hospital, which the actress was able to spearhead despite being overseas.

Maris Racal was lauded by netizens when she announced that she was able to raise P600,000 for frontliners in Tagum City. She didn't stop there, as the star continued to urge people to help out so they could reach more hospitals.

The Hows Of Us star Kathryn Bernardo quietly took part in assisting those in need in San Lazaro Hospital. The health personnel expressed gratitude towards the actress for delivering essentials.

Another actress who helped out during these trying times was Maja Salvador. It can be noted that The Killer Bride star sent packed meals to those battling at the frontlines and even wrote heartfelt messages for them.

Chesca Kramer proved once again that she is more than just a pretty face, but someone with a generous heart as well—she made calls for donations to raise P2,000,000 in order to equip various hospitals with personal protective equipment, hospital bed mattresses, UVC sterilizers and other apparatuses.
