Although her regular performances on the Sunday variety show ASAP were postponed and her recording schedules were put on hold, Zephanie still improves herself as a performer and a public figure. “Nilu-look forward ko din po na after nitong quarantine na ‘to [ay] [mas] maging better ‘yung pag-play ko ng guitar and pwede ko din po ma-share kapag nagpeperform na’ko, and siguro mas more on self-improvement, gano’n,” she narrates.

She also reveals focusing on her physical appearance as well. “Isa din po dun ‘yung pagwo-work out para after din po nito mas maging okay na ‘yung physical features ko.”

Zephanie admits that the rising cases of COVID-19 made her paranoid at one point, so she recommends people to prepare themselves mentally enough to be fully aware of the situation.

Above all, she holds on to prayer. “Lagi lang talaga ako nagpe-pray not just for my family [but also] for myself para nadin po talaga sa lahat lalong lalo na po ‘yung mga confirmed na positive kasi sila ‘yung may mas pinagdadaan. Pray lang siguro po. ‘Wag talaga ia-actract ‘yung mapa-paranoid ka na, ‘yung ‘hala pa’no yung kung meron ako’ gano’n. Naniniwala ako na the more you think about it, the more you attract it. Be positive lang.”

When asked about the safety tips she recommends people to follow, Zephanie enumerates three important reminders: 1. “Stay at home as much as  possible,” 2. “Eat healthy food, drink vitamins,” and 3. “Mas maging extra OC ka talaga sa hygiene mo and kung saan ka nagstay, and pray, of course.”
