The Hollywood actress went missing on July 8 after she rented a boat for a little excursion with her son, Josey Hollis, at Lake Peru, which is situated North West of Los Angeles.

However, Josey was spotted alone on the boat by another boater a couple of hours later, and then the little boy explained to authorities that his mother pushed him back into the boat before disappearing beneath the surface.

After days of searching for the missing actress, they finally found her body on July 13 without a life jacket on her, although Josey was luckily wearing one at that time.

Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub also suggested on July 13 that the lake's currents could have caused difficulties for the actress, which led to her tragic passing.
