Imagine exchanging wedding vows at the beach – with sun, sand, sky, and special people around you!

Beach weddings are popular for the unique experience of also being one with nature.  Many celebrities have been united in front of love and God right there on their choice beach—so why don’t we spread the love, and get hitched this summer, or next!

Scroll, and swoon.

Because of their shared love for surfing and the beach, Halik actor Jericho Rosales and Filipino-British style icon Kim Jones chose Shangri-La Boracay Resort to be their wedding place in May 2014. The couple met through Denise Go, wife of the actor Dominic Ochoa. Then the two eventually became friends. In March 2012, they went public with their admirable relationship. What a perfect combination!

Love at first sight. That is how the first meeting of actress Iza Calzado and British entrepreneur Ben Wintle is best described. It’s truly fate that brought the couple together, and made them last for six years before they eventually got married. In October 2018, Iza and Ben were officially declared husband and wife at a Palawan resort a year after they got engaged. Look at that kiss!

They say good things come to those who wait. As for TV show host Drew Arellano and actress and host Iya Villania, a 10-year relationship made them stay true to their values. What started out to be just co-actors eventually turned into friends.  They officially became together in May 2004. Finally, Drew and Iya married each other in a private wedding at the edge of a cliff in Kawayan Cove, Nasugbu, Batangas. We couldn’t imagine a more cinematic wedding than this.

Nothing can keep Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero from tying the knot in a Balesin Island wedding in February 15, 2015—the day after Heart’s birthday. Before they became Mr. and Mrs. Escudero, Heart was in a relationship when she first met Chiz in a beauty pageant in La Union.  It was not until the late Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago gave Heart’s number to Chiz that they got in contact again. And the rest was history!

It’s normal for celebrities to announce the day of their wedding day, and although TV host Bianca Gonzalez and basketball player JC Intal adhered to doing the same, the couple surprised everyone when they also actually got married in El Nido Palawan a week earlier.

We can still remember the viral proposal of JC to then-girlfriend Bianca at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in March 2014. In December of the same year, the couple officially became Mr. and Mrs. Intal. Kilig!

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Maxene shared that she already had a crush on Robby even before they got to know each other. She would often see him in music events where her sister Saab’s band also performed. In September 2015, the couple announced their relationship as boyfriend-girlfriend.

A union is sweeter the second time around for actress Judy Ann Santos and TV show host Ryan Agoncillo who married in 2009. In a blog by wedding filmmaker Jason Magbanua, he said the couple’s son Lucho, who was not born yet during the wedding, enjoyed watching his parents’ wedding video, but was wondering where he was at the time. Marking their seven years as husband and wife, Judy Ann and Ryan then renewed their wedding vows and included all their children: Yohan, Juana Luisa, and Lucho himself in the video, in an island-themed wedding in a private resort in Batangas in April 2016. What a lovely family!

They were joined by family, friends, and music artists Rachelle Ann worked with including Sarah Geronimo, Erik Santos, Mark Bautista, and Regine Velasquez. On an Instagram post of Rachelle, she said that Martin and she met through a friend who set them up, and she was grateful that it happened. In September 2017, the couple got engaged, and a wedding proposal video was released online. It was so heartwarming!

According to Bangs, when her eyes met Lloyd’s, they knew that they felt something towards the other. Eventually, the couple exchanged wedding vows in the same island in January 2017. It was also revealed that the couple already married in a civil wedding in England a year before that. Really meant to be!
