Salon Business

Apart from acting, the Kapamilya actress blessed with beauty and talent has ventured into entrepreneurship. In May 2018, Loisa and her family opened a salon called LoiSalon in Parañaque City.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the young star said she chose the salon business because her coffee shop business didn’t do so well. She explained that changing her line of business turned out to be a better idea as salons are more appealing to women, men, and even children.

“Actually na-try ko rin dati ’yung coffee shop,” Loisa said in the interview. Parang di nila bet ’yung coffee shop masyado.”

The mainstay of the action-drama series, The General’s Daughter, added, “Kaya pag salon, ang salon, maraming may kailangan. Babae, lalaki, bata, matanda, lahat puwede, kaya salon.”

In an interview with Tonight with Boy Abunda, Loisa told host Boy Abunda that it was her mother’s decision to open a salon. “Kasi ’yung mama ko, gusto niya po talaga ng salon,” she said. “And saktong-sakto ’yung salon owner dati ayaw na niya, gusto na niyang ibenta. ’Tapos sabi niya [ni Mama], kunin natin ’to. ‘Tapos sabi ko, sige puwede.”

“Masaya talaga kasi, di ba, pag may business ka, parang isa siya sa achievements sa buhay mo,” she pointed out. “Kumbaga, sa edad kong 19 years old, masaya ako na nagkaroon ako ng ganitong salon, at talagang nakakatulong sa pamilya namin kaya happy talaga.”

Soon-to-be Home
