Those living in the north need not look far to find a dining spot that is relaxing and uniquely picturesque at the same time.
Located inside UP Diliman, Melchor Hall's cafeteria is the latest hip dining hideaway in Quezon City—but really the food isn't our concern here. The caf's retro look makes it at par with those hipster place everybody loves because of their homey, come-as-you-are-we're-all-cool-here vibe, with the predominantly white walls and black ceiling with hanging lightbulbs combo giving it an industrial feel. Breaking the white walls are framed photos of flora and fauna, a word art on the opposite side, and a blackboard detailing the cafeteria's menu. Rounding out the retro look are succulents gracing each laminated wood table.
The Melchor Hall Cafeteria is open Mondays to Fridays, 10AM to 7PM.
