When visitng a country known as The Land Of The Morning Calm, it's only fitting to take advantage of its daylight. And when that same country happens to be the root of all things K-Drama, living out your standom—whether that’s walking the streets or admiring the traditional houses as seen on TV—and eternalizing the experience through pictures are absolute musts.
That’s exactly what self-confesssed, K-Drama obsessed Anne Curtis and her fiancé Erwan Heussaff did when they flew to South Korea for their recent prenup shoot. Since popping the question in December 2016, ErwAnne’s kept mum over the actual wedding date. But with their photos now going viral, we wouldn’t be surprised if the actress-host and food blogger are marrying sooner than we think!

One mystery that needs no solving, however, is the person responsible for taking such gorgeous and 'Gram-worthy pics—the one and only Hendry Yadhisna Yap.
Born in Indonesia but based in South Korea, Hendry’s love for photography began at childhood. He was fond of shooting landscapes with a camera phone, and as time passed, he found himself trading said phone for a DSLR and blending people into his pictures.
Still, not once did the idea of turning this passion into a career cross his mind. His brother-in-law thought, otherwise. “He thought of making our own brand. We were getting a lot of requests from friends and relatives to take photos of their events,” Hendry explains.
That brand has become what the public knows today as Imago Pictura. Hendry didn’t stop there, though. He also shoots for Sweet Escape—a company that specializes in holiday travel photography.
Hendry credits Sweet Escape for landing the ErwAnne gig. Says Hendry, “I got assigned as their photographer. I knew Anne through Instagram, but I didn’t know her (and Erwan) personally until our session. I realized they were so famous (because) people from the Philippines recognize them and ask for pictures”.
When asked about the shoot, Hendry dished on how hands-on they were, especially in terms of venue. “Anne was inspired by Goblin. And she loves (the) Autumn scenery. That’s why she asked me to do the photo shoot at Nami island,” he shares. “Erwan prefers natural photography and picked the second location. Haneul Park. It has a great landscape and (gives off) Autumn feels at the same time”.

Working with the couple wasn’t difficult for him. In fact, Hendry has nothing but kind words for them. “They both look really good in frames. They’re so humble even though they’re so famous. They even taught me how to speak Tagalog,” he recounts.
Despite having booked two of the Philippines’ hottest names as clients, there’s no stopping Hendry from improving his craft. “I plan to keep learning more skills, and I hope in the future I will be well known,” he admits.
His work speaks for itself. With images as breathtaking as those of ErwAnne, we won’t be surprised if this good-looking, equally humble photog has already made his mark.
