It was an early call time and an almost three-hour ride to Two Gardens in Tagaytay—we alighted the van, lethargic and sleepy, but within a few minutes, an energetic voice punctuated the silence. “Hello po!”
Andrea Brillantes, a first-time Chalk cover girl, stepped into the foyer with her signature bright grin, no trace of tiredness on her face. It was more than enough to liven everyone up as the 14-year-old was just raring to begin shooting.
Off cam, Andrea was sweet and bubbly, but as soon as she faces the lens, the teen sensation turns into an enigmatic character. She knew exactly how to work her angles to give us the best shots. She didn’t even bat an eyelash when we asked her to sit on the grass, and acceded to our every request. (Oh, to be young and beautiful!) Andrea showed a level of maturity and professionalism that was surprising for her age, proving that she is the next big thing to watch out for. Find out why Chalk is declaring her the next Teen Queen by grabbing a copy of Chalk's April-May issue!
As a special treat, here are exclusive behind the scenes photos from our cover shoot!
