In Focus: Throwback Celebrity Preggo Photos That Prove Motherhood Make Women Look More Beautiful

Who would have expected that a maternity photoshoot can break the internet? Well, if it's by Beyonce's, it's really highly likely that it would. After announcing via a photo of her showcasing her baby bump that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting twins which got 9.9 million (and counting) likes on Instagram, and countless memes, there's no doubt Queen Bey set another trend.

While practically everyone is in awe of how flawless queen Bey looked in the photo, we remember that some of the Philippines' pregnant celebrities from years past also flaunted their baby bumps with confidence.

Aside from stunning preggo photos of Bianca Gonzales, Beauty Gonzales, Iya Villania, Georgina Wilson, Toni Gonzaga, Rufa Mae Quinto, Isabel Oli, Chynna Ortaleza, Marian Rivera, and Vanessa Matsunaga, we also have here a few tips should you want to have a maternity photoshoot in the future:

1.  Wait until your belly is big enough, but not too big. Photographer Mariah Milan Dagupion suggests holding maternity shoots when you are around 30 weeks pregnant, as your belly is not too heavy and big enough for you to hold various poses during the shoot.

2. Angles and poses matter! For photographer Leah Cook, it is important to know your best angle so you get the most flattering look possible in photos. Cook's posing suggestions include holding your belly while standing up or sitting down and being photographed from a bird's eye view. When it comes to shooting, avoid low angle shots, as high angle shots have a slimming effect.

3. Make use of natural light. The best maternity photos do not need studio strobes or any form of camera flash--the sun's natural light is more than enough to highlight your glow. To get the most out of natural light, photographer Ashley McNamara suggests posing behind a door or window for indoor shoots. For outdoor shoots, the best times to do your shoot is during the early morning or one or two hours before sunset.
