Seo Ji-Hye, 35.
Born in 1984, Ji-Hye was discovered when she was still in high school before going on to study drama in Sungkyunkwan University.
The youngest on this list, Ji-he was was most recently seen in the Netflix hit "Crash Landing On You" as a North Korean heiress Seo Dan. She made an unforgettable mark onscreen even though she was only cast as the second lead.

Park Hae-jin, 36.
Unlike most of his contemporaries who became known internationally for K-Drama, Hae-jin starred in the Chinese drama Qian Duo Duo Marry Remember. The series was a hit in China and Japan, earning him the distinction of being the first Korean to win the Asia Star Award at the 2012 LeTV Awards. He also has the distinction of having a movie screen named after him in China.
His breakthrough role came in "Cheese in a Trap" (2016) which he starred in both TV and movie versions. He is confirmed to star in the new thriller drama "Crime Puzzle," yet to showcase him switching role-wise from boy-next-door to psychopath!
Fun fact: After growing up from humble beginnings, Hae-jin has been open about his passion for footwear. He currently has over 1,800 brand new pairs in his collection!
Yoon In-na, 37.
She, at 16, initially had aspirations of becoming a singer. But after more than a decade of trying to find the right girl group and entertainment agencies to represent her, she traded it in for a career in acting.
In-na started out doing supporting roles in several series. Still, her passion for music remains as she was also a DJ for the highly rated radio program "Let’s Crack Up the Volume."
Because of the popularity of her love team with Lee Dong Wook in the 2017 series "Goblin," they were paired again onscreen again as the lead stars of the 2019 romance "Touch Your Heart."
Hyun Bin, 37.
Despite his parents' initial objection, Hyun Bin already knew what he wanted to do in life after performing in his first school play back in high school. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theater Studies in 2004 from Chung-Ang University, where he also earned his Masters in 2009.
Hardcore K-Drama fans may recognize a lankier version of the actor in the 2005 rom-com series "My Lovely Kim Sam Soon."
But Hyun Bin’s career is on an all-time high this year after starring in "Crash Landing On You"—as the dashing Captain Ri. The series has also been hailed as the second highest rated series in Korea’s cable television history.
Ju Ji-hoon, 37.
Most notably known as Crown Prince not just in this year’s addictively scary zombie series "Kingdom" but also in "Princess Hours" in 2006, Ju Ji-hoon was already used to being around cameras long before he started acting.
This 6'2"-tall model-turned-actor born in 1982 had already walked the runway for various global brands before going into television.
Experience wise, Ji-hoon experienced a rocky first half of his career. In 2009, he spent half a year in prison after pleading guilty to drug charges. The actor has sicne repented and in turn, saw a career resurgence with his return from military service.
Song Hye-kyo, 38.
Known for her infectiously bubbly personality as seen in almost all her projects, Hye Kyo was actually a self-confessed introvert growing up. She, then 14, found her way into showbiz after winning a modeling contest in high school.
Hye-kyo solidified her status as a certified Hallyu star after her heartbreakingly beautiful performance in "Autumn In My Heart" (2000) which catapulted her popularity across Asia.
And although she is technically single, she got married to her "Descendants of the Sun" leading man Song Joong-ki in 2017. She got back to singlehood after their divorce got finalized last year.
Lee Dong-wook, 38.
After winning grand prize in a modeling contest as a teenager, Dong-wook got cast in his first teen drama "School 2" that same year. He then got his first lead role in the 2005 romantic comedy "My Girl" opposite Lee Da-hae.
This hardworking heartthrob is the oldest of four siblings and became the breadwinner of his family after joining the showbiz industry. He graduated with a degree in Broadcasting and Media Arts from Joongbu Unversity.
Dong-wook impressed fans when he even made death look attractive playing the Grim Reaper in the 2016 hit "Goblin."

Known as the “Nation’s First Love” in Korea, this youthful looking veteran actress has proven that she has only gotten even more beautiful with each year.

Gong Yoo, 40.
This Kyung Hee University Theater graduate started in showbiz as a video jock before taking on his first acting project in 2001—"School 4."
And as one of the most recognizable faces to Pinoys because of his immensely popular projects "Train to Busan," "Coffee Prince," and "Goblin," it’s almost a shock to find out that this handsome bachelor is already four decades old.
When not working, Gong Yoo has shared his favorite activity to de-stress is to go fishing and watch NBA games. Although he has been quoted in recent interviews that he has no plans on getting hitched anytime soon, Gong Yoo admits he likes assertive and dependable traits in people.
Ha Ji-won, 41.
Having dreamed of becoming an actress since she was young, Ji-won continued to pursue her goal. She previously attended 100 auditions before her talent agency discovered her back in senior high school.
This Dankook University Film and Television graduate has been making movies and TV series for over 20 years. She first gained international popularity in the 2010 drama "Secret Garden" (with Hyun Bin) and is currently starring in this year’s series "Chocolate."
And even with Korea known as the plastic surgery capital of the world with numerous celebrities reportedly going under the knife, Ji-won is one of the few actresses that is considered a true natural beauty.
