No other point in history shall mass media (including social media) prove its most helpful than in a crisis. Recently, for example, Filipinos and everyone all over the world afflicted the covid-19 situation have glued their eyes on their screens for the latest on the pandemic, with state leaders and experts conveying declarations, studies, and other important messages to the masses.

But for a very technical subject matter like transmissive diseases, wouldn't it also help if these announcements or call-to-action statements are relayed with the least confusion and complication? A newly founded Filipino group in Citizens' Urgent Response to End COVID-19 recently attempts to fill this gap by publishing informative, easy to read and distribute infographics related to the topic. A private initiative, CURE COVID seeks to inform and stir discussion on the pandemic within Philippine context the fastest through social media. The group has already published two galleries as of press time—one on the know-how surrounding covid-19 and another on demands addressed to the government amid the enhanced community quarantine.
