In Focus: Celebs Who Used Their Star Power To Help Taal Volcano Victims

When Taal first spewed ash on January 12, it sparked a nationwide movement for Filipinos to help nearly a million kabababayans forced to evacuate their homes that stood within 14 and 17-kilometers from the volcano—areas deemed danger zones by authorities. From spreading awareness to personally visiting the victims, the celebrities in this gallery are only a fraction of the inspiring power of generosity amidst chaos. Famous or not, each one of us is capable of helping. Regardless of status, a little can certainly go a long way!
