Style Inspo: Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi's Looks Prove She's A Total Trendsetter!

Fashion plays a big part in the life of a beauty queen. And for the newly crowned Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, it seems that she’s already nailed it. On her official Instagram page, the 26-year-old has given the public a good idea of the trends she sports most. Here are three we spotted:

1. Bold and beautiful. Conventional fashion experts swear by the seasonal color analysis (aka skin tone matching) to determine what colors work best for one’s skin type. But for girls like Zozibini, bolder is always better—no matter the shade! "I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me, with my kind of skin and my kind of hair, was never considered to be beautiful...I think it is time that that stops today," she declared as her Miss Universe 2019 closing statement. Wearing color is just one way she practices what she preaches.

2. Prints galore. Not one to stick to monochrome, Miss U 2019 has been pictured wearing all sorts of prints, from striped lines and cheetah prints, to tribal patterns and geometric shapes. Once in a while, she’ll dare to wear two prints at once, and pull them off without looking overkill.

3. Glistening glitter. We saw Zozibini stun the universe in bedazzling evening gowns. Shimmer and sequins is a longstanding tradition for Miss Universe contestants. But even off stage, she wears the trend like royalty. Now this kween has a shiny new crown to go with her sparkly dresses!

Needless to say, no matter what she wears, she carries every outfit with class and South African pride.
