#ABSCBNLifestyle Inspo: The Diet And Workouts That Got Me My Pageant Bod

I’m conscious about what I eat. For the past two years, even before joining pageants, I’ve been training myself to eat clean. Giving my body the nutrients it needs and living an active lifestyle have become a habit, but every once in a while—around once a week—I indulge in desserts like dark chocolate, cake, and a little too much of fruits.

My diet is plant-based. I did not have a hard time adapting to this diet because growing up, my mom would always feed me with fish and vegetables. Also, I was trained to value the importance of discipline. Lately, I buy my food at Farmer’s Market and Healthy Options. And when I have time, I would do some research online on how to cook healthy dishes and eventually prepare them. So far, Quinoa burgers are my favorite because of their high fiber content which is a great antioxidant.

To stay active, I work out four times a week. This includes going to Gold’s Gym, whether I’m in Manila or Cebu. I have an online coach, Jimba Sy, and my Cebu-based coach, Kenneth Benton. Since I really enjoy sweating it out, I also do yoga and kickboxing.
