When I was 16 to 17, doon ako naging conscious about my makeup and how I look. Yun yung first year ko sa showbiz. Ang dami nyang, “You should use this!”
With skincare, I always make sure na meron akong oil-based cleaning lotion. I rub it on my face so that natatanggal yung makeup. Then I use facial wash and cleanse with Garnier Micellar Water. After washing, kailangan ako magtoner para completely malinis. I also use an oil that’s rich in Vitamin C to brighten up my pimple marks and dark spots. If I’m feeling fancy, I also have a jade roller na nilalagay ko sa fridge—para malamig din. My daytime and nighttime routines are almost the same. Except during the day, I add sunblock.
I have combination skin—minsan it’s oily, minsan it’s very dry and patchy. Growing up, lagi akong may bumps. Nagfe-facial ako once a month to extract the dirt na nasi-stimulate during taping. When that happens, magkakaroon ka talaga ng pimples. Lucky for me though, never ako dumaan sa acne na merong craters.
When I’m not working, pina-practice ko na tinted sunblock, concealer, cream blush or tint, and pag oily mag-powder ng onti.
