Bali, of course, is regarded as one of the hottest summer destinations lately—with many young social media influencers supporting this cause by flocking to the paradise riddled with temples, jungles, beaches, and gastronomic surprises. It’s so much so after the International Finance Cooperation of the World Bank Group even committed USD 300 million to support the Indonesian government’s tourism efforts covering different locales like Bali.
Due to its proximity to the Philippines, Bali became a wise choice for Rambo, a businessman, then looking for a location for a company outing.
“It was actually the annual team building of my companies. We both love Bali so since we wanted to go back, Maja joined the trip. In terms of planning, the trip was all about relaxing and going to our favorite places in Bali. We shared the spots that we like and went with everyone,” Rambo—who owns PR firm Forthinker Inc. and digital agency Pop Up Digital—narrates.

Bali easily got his and Maja’s yearning for a hip and happening beach scene, he adds.
“We love the vibe of Bali. It’s a place where you can just chill all day, eat, get a massage, surf, and party!” he enthuses. “So practically a mix of everything which you can just repeat every day. The weather was hot, but it rained a bit.”
To get the full experience, Rambo and Maja stayed at villas along with his employees—“it’s perfect in Bali when you travel with a big group ‘cause you have a dining area, living room, and swimming pool at your own convenience.”

Rambo and Maja shared a packed, five-day itinerary that not only molded a relationship milestone, but also forged camaraderie between the couple and the employees.
“Just the bonding that we had with the rest of the company, specifically the bus rides where we all just told jokes and sang along to music!” Rambo, a former ramp model, shares.
Picking up from this recent travel, Rambo has the following tips to those who’ve been wanting to visit Bali soon.
“Where to stay? W, a beautiful, huge property with great restaurants,” he recounts. “To chillax, go to Finns Beach Club, which clearly defines the chill vibe of Bali. It’s a place where you can chill and groove to great music. It also has a great sunset! You can do the same (eat, swim, and drink cocktails) at Mrs Sippy, Seminyak—where you can stay and have fun here all day! Lastly, I also recommend OMNIA Dayclub Bali. This place is very classy—very nice architecture by the cliff in Uluwatu. It’s a personal favorite of ours!”
