I’m into places na hindi puntahin ng mga tao, mas nakikita ko yung natural beauty sa mga ganun. In general, I love the beach so, whatever beach you take me, I would love.

I have never been to Boracay, never been to Palawan because when I was a kid we always just went to my mom’s province, Negros Occidental. It’s an hour flight from Manila to Silay Airport in Bacolod, then it’s a three-hour drive to Sipalay, which is my mom’s hometown. The beaches there are beautiful, it’s very underrated. It’s not a very big tourist spot in the Philippines but you really have to go see this place. It’s so beautiful. There are a lot of virgin beaches na wala pang resort—raw beach lang, which I enjoy more than developed beaches. Top recommendations: Campomanes, Tinagong Dagat, and Puntang Ubong. Puntang Ubong is a place in Negros where there’s this cave that you can swim inside. The water’s really really cold, you could see water snakes sa malalim na parts. It’s an adventure to go to places like these.

For my bucket list, I want to go to Palawan, everybody’s been talking about Palawan. I want to go to Surigao too. A lot of people have been talking about it—they say that the people there are amazing, they’re all pretty chill, they help each other out, and the community respects the place they live in. I saw this seven-level falls in Surigao! The Enchanted River is also one place I want to check out in the area!
