Philippines, make way for newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2019, Gazini Christiana Ganados!
Out of the 40 of the country's finest beauties that competed at the recently held Binibining Pilipinas 2019 coronation night, the 23-year old Cebuana beauty stood out in a bright fuchsia winged gown by Cary Santiago and sashayed with killer confidence to eventually bag the crown.
Of course, we got more curious about our next Miss Universe bet who is about to follow in the footsteps of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. And the best thing we've dug up about this gal? She's a total nature lover!

On her Instagram account, Talisay City, Cebu native Gazini has shown her innate love of nature—the sea, to be specific. Luckily, she lives in a city where she has access to the beautiful turquoise waters of Cebu Strait.
"There is something really special about our little blue planet, its strange and humbling to enter a space that is for the majority, untouched by human life. [It's] one of the only remaining natural wilderness unexplored by people. It contains raw beauty and intangible danger in its power," Gazini said in an Instagram post.
Call her a beach bum, but Gazini is more than that. She loves doing water activities such as kayaking, stand up paddle board (SUP), rafting, and diving. "Being able to dive is the closest thing to going to a different planet that any of us will ever experience," she captioned.

Before joining beauty pageants including Binibining Pilipinas, Gazini earned a scuba diving certification— a feat she strongly felt fulfilling.
"To be honest, getting a certification for scuba diving is something I have never taken into consideration. I looked at scuba diving as something similar to skydiving. (I've) done it and that’s good enough. Those were my initial thoughts! But (I) was wrong. As an adrenaline junkie, (it did'nt) end there. I was craving for more!" she wrote. "In a world that I would have simply been gazing at literally and figuratively, only from the surface.. (l)ike the dream of every child, I too wanted to fly like a bird and swim in the ocean like a fish. Blissfully, there was something that actually allowed me to do the latter."
