Can you describe yourself in five words?

Seryoso, makulit, (moody), baliw, passionate.

How do you think people see you?

Kunyari, I usually do gatherings with fans, 'tapos pinapakita ko kung sino talaga ako. But when my supporters get to be with me sa mga gatherings, dun nila nakikita kung sino talaga ako na kalog akong tao—mahilig akong mang asar, mahilig akong mangbasag.

What’s something you’d be happy to do everyday?

Mag-spend ng time with my son, kasi nasa States yung anak ko eh. Ten years old na sya, and nasa California na sila. Last time na nakasama ko sya, parang three years ago.

What keeps you busy nowadays?

Yung work ko as a singer, at the same time, itong last year, parang nakapag-decide ako na itong taon na ito, itong 2019, medyo mag-syi-shift na din ako towards sa production side ng music industry. So hindi nalang ako singer. Yung manager ko and I, naging mag-partners kami. Nag-put up kami ng music label and ako yung naging A&R (artist and repertoire) and at the same time, producer nung mga artist na mapapasama dun sa label.

When did you find out you wanted to become a singer?

Siguro, six years old ata ako nun. Maaga akong na-in love sa music.

How do you like to spend your alone time?

PlayStation. Doon lang ako hindi nag-iiisip. Doon nagpapahinga yung utak ko kapag I do video games.

What do you think about when you’re by yourself?

Financial stability. Kasi pag artist ka, ayaw mong nako-compromise yung ginagawa mo, kasi you’re doing it for the love of art. So, naisip ko na parang ang sarap maging sobrang yaman—ang sarap maging financially stable, kasi pag mayroon kang negosyo na nagbibigay sayo ng enough na pera, then you can do your art the way it’s meant to be for you. Ano kayang magandang business?” Na hindi rin ako mabo-bore, at the same time, on the side, magagawa ko rin yung craft ko, kung ano talaga yung gusto kong gawin, kung paano ko sya gustong gawin.

What was the best phase of your life?

Yung mga kapatid ko, ako nagpapaaral, and I also help my parents out.

What was the worst phase of your life?

I would say, nagpakasal ako nang hindi ako ready. Ako yung nag-file ng annulment, eh. So, ayun yung worst, kasi that time, may baby kasi nabuntis, so we decided na magpakasal.

What’s on your bucket list this year?

Birthday kasi ng mom ko nung February 5. Matagal ko nang pangarap makapag-out of the country kaming mag-ina. So, ayun, first time naming napuntahan yung Hong Kong. Pero at the back of my mind, sana kasama ko mga kapatid ko dito. Sana kasama ko mga parents ko dito. So, finally nung February 5, nakapag-Hong Kong kami.
