For practicality purposes, you really don't have to overthink what you wear in your travels. Going for a single theme, style, or, dare we say, uniform that will all fit your personal taste, lifestyle, and, of course, the destination should easily do it. Having pared down ensembles not only reduces stress that stems from over-packing; it also makes dressing up a little easier!
Actor-musicians Jericho Rosales and Carlo Aquino, and blogger-influencer David Guison all know too well how having travel "uniforms" does the trick. Hailed recently as True Wanderers by clothing brand Wrangler, these stylistas are living proof that looking good and dressing functionally coexist even when you’re on the go.
Their greatest criterion in this matter? “For me, (I look for something) really classic, timeless, and easy to move in. Something not intimidating,” David told ABS-CBN Lifestyle. For Jericho, it's about looking for clothes that are “tough, dependable, and adventure-ready.” And as for Carlo, it's having "rugged" pieces that you can wear anytime and anywhere, “so kahit saan ka pumunta, mapa-bundok, dagat okay sya.”

Yet, wherever your travels bring you, your sense of style should also be tantamount to your clotheas' functionality and comfort. For Jericho, Carlo, and David, denim straightforwardly ticks everything in your travel uniform checklist. High quality denim, specifically. “Invest in a really good pair of jeans that will last you a long time,” David declared, with Carlo agreeing, “You can never go wrong with maong.” Jericho especially advised to have a denim jacket or jeans with you on your trips.
The three men also believe the key to an easy-to-pull-off travel uniform is in the accessories. Jericho, who bagged Metro Best Dressed Male at last year's ABS-CBN Ball in his soon-to-be-iconic pink suit, stressed on the statement a pair of socks carries. “I like to wear socks... I’m serious about my socks. You can play around with the little things and get a hanky or scarf na medyo functional pa rin. Sakin kasi mahilig ako sa utilitarian na nagagamit. So little details to identify style mo or expression mo. But (kept) as simple as possible.”
