Deciding what to wear while pregnant can feel restrictive and frustrating—given challenges, yes, but challenges nonetheless for even the most excited mothers-to-be.
Women like Marian Rivera, however, would rather not make a big deal of it. Whether she’s in front of a camera or out on the street, the svelte actress knows exactly what she wants to wear without letting her sense of style suffer.
But just how does a busybody like her dress on the daily? We caught up with the glowing Mestiza at the launch of jewelry and watch collection in partnership with Avon Fashions, where we learned just how practical her approach to maternity wear is. These days all Marian wants to wear are comfy clothes. “Most of the time, naka leggings ako tapos may supporter para sa belly, and then shirt or polo or dress. Kapag nasa bahay, long cotton na may sleeves na dress,” she explains.
When working with her stylist, the actress-host makes this simple request.
Apart from that, she doesn’t really restrict herself. “I can wear tube, I can wear longsleeves, basta subtle lang na magiging comfortable ako,” she says.
She recycles!
As for jewels? Marian prefers the classics. According to the now jewelry designer, “Ever since talaga gusto ko yung simple lang pero classy—yung pwede mo syang I pair sa kahit anong damit.
