“I’m happy, really happy. No, seriously, I’m happy. Should I explain why?” In a mix of firmness and nervousness, Robi Domingo would declare this in our Facebook Live chat held recently to launch him as our newest #ABSCBNLifestyleInspo for February. As a celebrity lifestyle journalist, I’ve come to know Robi over the course of his career—so much so I could easily say that despite his very deliberate delivery, I sensed certainty. “No need,” and so I replied.
These days, the much-loved host looks very much, well, in love. Blooming, in tito-tita lingo. I mean it in every sense of the word (not just in a romantic way—but I’ll get to that later!). After “letting go” a few years back because of what he’d admit as a deep, personal struggle, he finally got back on track. He is tickling us anew as the host of PBB: Otso, the latest edition of the hit reality show that would introduce him to the general public and then introduce him to his very thriving career. The MYX VJ also just finished another season of ABS-CBN S+A’s U-Town. Off hosting, he’s at gym sculpting those cuts almost everyday; other times, he’s busy exploring different places either for work or vacay. Off the limelight, he’s focused as ever on growing his food businesses.
The past years, Robi has it good—really good.
And then in the love department, the 29 year old is—as he would reveal here exclusively here on ABS-CBN Lifestyle—fulfilled. I’ll leave it to him to tell you all about it in a series of articles and videos about finding new love all on our site. But, of course, your dream boy turned guest editor isn’t just on board to spill cheese about hugot-filled relationship talks. For the whole Love Month, expect our first male ABS-CBN Lifestyle Inspo to walk you through love for family, love of career, and, the most important, self-love!
