Perhaps the single biggest crowddrawer in Thailand is the Grand Palace located at the heart of Bangkok. Composed of numerous buildings and courtyards, the place features an abundance of glass mosaics, decorative columns, and fine sculptures that perfectly convey the wealth and vibrant culture of the Kingdom of Siam. While the dazzling colors and brilliant architecture may overwhelm the eyes, it also can't be denied that religion and tradition radiates through each carefully thought-out tile in this palace complex.
