Online student portal Edukasyon.ph, through a KUMU livestream, spearheaded a Q&A with various local school administrators to update students on academic operations in the new normal.
Hosted by Hanz Ponceca of Edukasyon.ph’s Education Partnerships team, the first #EdukasyonAsks livestream discussion 'seated' representatives from Mapua Institute of Technology, Baliuag University, University of Cordillera, and Enderun Colleges in a round table discussion as a way to address the students’ most relevant concerns.

First discussed at #EdukasyonAsks: The schools’ transitional plans to e-education, with the pandemic still temporarily forcing these institutions to discontinue face-to-face learning. This, as a new school year opens in August.
In response, the guest schools disclosed their e-education arrangements already set up before the lockdown.
For one, University of Cordillera shared it already carries learning management systems and online classes and modules for its flagship programs.
Baliuag University, which offers the most accredited programs in the country, said it also has e-education plans in place but with some adjustments in the works to meet the rise in demand and other considerations.
Mapua, a premier engineering and technological school, shared news on its improved and fully online platform complete with synchronous live/ interactive sessions and asynchronous sessions for students
Lastly, Enderun, known for its industry-specific programs with intensive internship placements, revealed a high level of student engagement on its online platform registering over 1,000 livestream sessions with 2,000 assignments only lately.

The second part of #EdukasyonAsks tackled changes in the enrollment process considering all new limitations imposed.
All schools replied they are shifting entrance exams and enrollments to online, while keeping resident students industry-ready with their flexible online classes.
