Since the closure of malls and establishments brought about by the lockdown, many of us have shifted our routines online—shopping for essentials, included. But after about two months, with NCR and many places now being placed under general community quarantine (GCQ), we have been finally allowed to enter malls and stores—only with stricter guidelines.
For the health and safety of its employees and patrons, malls are implementing strict hygiene measures. They now require mask-wearing and social distancing, provide alcohol dispensers and thermal scanners, and sanitize the place every so often. While many retail stores are opened, they have kept cinemas, fitness studios, and other shops that invite people together closed. All these guidelines, malls do follow in accordance with the government’s regulations to assure customers that safety is the priority.
While we suggest you stay home and only go out when necessary (try online shopping as much as possible!), we list down here reopened malls that maybe of help with your essentials and the measures they're on to keep you safe.
