Kitchen Whiz: Celeb-Bookmarked 'Stress Baking' Ideas

Baking has always been a beloved pastime. But in recent months, it’s as if COVID-19 has prompted many to use baking as a coping mechanism while on quarantine—stress baking, if you will. With psychologists also citing its benefits to mental health, it's almost no wonder why people are deliberately spending time in the kitchen.

Cookies are always a good idea, especially if they’re home made!!!! 🍪🍪Finally found a recipe where I don’t have to wait for my dough to set - just mix it up, pop it in the oven and enjoy!! These cookies don’t flatten out when they cook so best to shape them or flatten the cookies a bit before you cook them. I used dark chocolate instead of semi sweet chocolate chips to give them a richer taste. But feel free to use any chocolate you have. 💖 INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup butter (melted)
1/2 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1 cup dark chocolate Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Add your dry ingredients and mix. Incorporate your chocolate. Roll into balls and flatten a little bit. Bake at 180 Celcius for 8-10 minutes. Got my chocolate from @tigreyolivachocolate!!! Music: Mornings Musician: Jef
