Many have resorted to buying-cum-hoarding disposable masks out of paranoia, led by the the lack of support and security from authorities. But while people's anxieties aren't exactly to blame for the shortage of masks and the consequential environmental concerns due to surplus in plastic, many have also suggested sewing one's own reusable masks at home.
Yes, along with haircut, exercise, and food, DIY is now the way to go in mask making. And it can be easy! The web does offer plenty of tutorials, but this one from a certain Kapamilya youngster who posted her video in line with ABS-CBN's #LigtasPilipinas campaign surely stands out. It seems the younger gen is bound to teach us things after all.
