In light of the COVID-19 situation, Kumu recently released the Kumu Lives Streaming Service, an innovation that conducts private live streams for free in an effort to help Filipinos hold events and gatherings online sans physical presence.
Kumu extended this service to help individuals, groups, and private and public entities to help find a solution to events, schedules, and all other social engagements that have been impacted by the nation's situation.
"The initial inspiration came from churches, bands, and schools tagging us on social media and reaching out to us," Kumu's founder Roland Ros shared in a statement. "And we're actually already working with a few groups like The Favor Church to continue their worship in this situation, and we're still looking for more organizations like universities and government offices to work with and help continue their lives."

Kumu vowed no delay as the service is wired for Filipino internet, Ros said.
“If a personal or business event has been affected by COVID-19, just reach out to [email protected] and the Kumu team will support you in setting up your livestream," he specified.
To highlight the effect and efficiency of the service, Kumu is partnering up with indie band IV of Spades for the latter's first-ever live stream stage on March 19.
