Known as one of the most enchanting public squares in Europe, Gendarmenmarkt has three beautiful establishments such as the Französischer Dom (French cathedral), Deutscher Dom (German cathedral), and the Konzerthaus (concert hall) situated between the two churches. A statue of renowned German poet Friedrich Schiller lies at its center, along with cafes, restos, and luxury boutiques where you can dine and shop.

The Berliner Dom is the largest church in Berlin. While it was completed in 1905, this Protestant church got damaged during the World War II and only reopened to the public in 1993 after its restoration.
The religious monument also has a museum where you can take a look at its history through different sketches, designs, and models.
