It's been 32 year since Cebuanos decided to honor the image of the Santo Niño with a grand parade held every third Sunday of January in Cebu City. The dance ritual called the "Sinulog" means graceful dance and it tells the story of the Filipino people's pagan past and their acceptance of Christianity and is performed by dancers of all ages, who move to the sound of drums in movements that resemble the river current.
