In Focus: SB19's Biggest Milestones That Made A'TINs Proud

SB19 is just starting out in their career, but, as early as now, we can see that they're likely poised to reach sensationally great heights. They've managed to break through the scene despite the fact that most people are still in the learning process of appreciating local talents. Because of this, they've ushered inspirational and groundbreaking movement in the Philippine music industry. It's safe to say that they did pave the way.

So far, the boys have given us quality outputs, and they are showing no signs of slowing down. They have kept themselves booked and busy in 2019, and sure they will continue to do so as the new year gets going. While we begin to feel a lot excited to see that, how about we take a look back at Josh, Stell, Sejun, Ken, and Justin's biggest milestones yet, shall we?

1. They landed their first ever digital cover.

In October 2019, SB19 graced the cover of our Chalk.ph. There, they opened up about the struggles of training and finally making it together as brothers. They've captured our hearts with their genuine passion not just for their group but also for the whole local industry.

2. They ruled the MYX charts.

For weeks, their single "Go Up" which largely shot them to fame dominated MYX Daily Top 10, MYX Hit, Chart and Pinoy MYX Countdown—an all-kill! It may have been dethroned now, but it's still enjoying a spot in the charts. And with their new release "Alab," we know it's only a matter of time before SB19 makes reenters at the top once again!

3. They embarked on their first tour.

The quintet are currently meeting their fans across the Philippines through their first Get In The Zone nationwide tour. And as if that wasn't enough of a gift to fans, they made the passes for free!

4. They filled up Cuneta Astrodome.

It may have been SB19's first major concert, but it's already proven phenomenal. In just three minutes since registration opened, the group has filled the sitting capacity of Cuneta Astrodome where they kicked off the tour. A'TINs got no chill!

5. They made history in US charts.

It looks like SB19 didn't only take their own country by storm but the rest of the world, too. In fact, they just became the first Filipino act to debut on Billboard's Social 50 charts and even found themselves in the US list of Next Big Sound alongside foreign artists. Way to make us super proud, boys!

6. Their fanbase keeps getting bigger and bigger.

ICYDK, these five talented boys are more than just about making waves but also about their dedication to their growing fanbase which last November have finally earned the name, A'TIN (pronounced as 'eighteen') which as the members explained, "Kasi kumbaga syempre 18 muna bago 19. Pag walang 18 (A'TIN), hindi makakarating sa 19."

This Pinoy pride has definitely come a long way, but it's also definitely not yet their peak. So don't feel guilty if you weren't able to be there for SB19 during these moments because we'll never know how high things can go up from here.
