Ryza Cenon is an epitome of a strong, independent woman. In an interview with StarStudio, she opened up about not being able to experience an “ideal childhood,” having to deal with the struggles of growing up without her parents. Her mom passed away when she was two years old, while his dad went on to have a new family.
And so the actress usually spends Christmas alone, but she makes each celebration meaningful by reaching out to those in need. It’s something she’s been doing since she joined showbiz back in 2005, she revealed. “Halos every year, nag-iisa lang ako sa house so nagpa-pack ako ng food and then namimigay ako sa mga families na natutulog sa street,” said the Kapamilya star. “Then ako, magda-drive thru somewhere, then tulog na. ‘Yun lang Christmas ko.”

The same goes for her birthday, which is four days away from Christmas, as Ryza wants her fans to extend love to others. “Kids yung ibang binibigyan namin ng gifts at pagkain tapos yung iba naman, elderly. Basta involved din sila,” she added.
