In Focus: These Moments Gave Our 2019 a Huge Dose of Kilig!

From Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil admitting their relationship to Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli getting engaged, a lot sure has happened in the past 12 months, and we're not even a bit complaining. If there's anything, we're glad that 2019 has managed to pull off itself as the most kilig year yet!

We mean, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing our favorite stars in their happiest state with the people they love—at least from the point of view of true fans. What makes it better is the fact that they're not doing it purposely on cam. And from there we already know, the feelings are real. So how about a throwback of all the moments that shaped our hearts this year, anyone?

While Kathryn Bernardo was busy filming her third box office hit Hello, Love, Goodbye in Hong Kong, beau Daniel Padilla came to surprise her. And sure did an emotionally excited Kath jumped for a hug. Sino namang hindi maiiyak?

It shookt us when Liza backed out of her much-awaited flight as Darna due to injury, but it relieved us to know that she had Quen by her side to go through the turn of events. The actor actually requested for pause of his activities to stay with her girlfriend while she recovers in the US. More. Than. Sweet.

The internet brought a lot of talk-worthy tweets, but there's only thing that matters to us this 2019: when James Reid said amidst being paired with Momoland's Nancy, "Please guys, no love team names. I’ve already got one #jadine." Don't get us wrong, we just love a loyal man.

Forget who was named the over-all champion at this year's Star Magic All-Star Games because we believe Kim Chiu went home as the real MVP! And, of course, Xian Liam was there to support, cheer, and, yes, carry her all the way after a successful volleyball win. Cue our screams!

Not only did Pinoy Big Brother Otso couple Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette brought inspiration to the life of viewers for being their true selves inside the house but also won a place in our hearts that one dinner date when they confessed their feelings for each other. This is the most kilig moment in PBB history, fight us!

This one is the hardest to choose considering all the times MayMay Entrata and Edward Barber spent together this year. But okay, from their trip to see the Northern Lights to their ABS-CBN Ball date, we picked this exchange of verbal sweetness as No. 1: Edward admitting that he can't see May as a girlfriend of another man and May saying if she'll have a future boyfriend, she wants it to be Edward. So when are we making it official?

On November 7, Matteo Guidicelli revealed via Instagram that he's engaged to his love, his now and forever Sarah Geronimo. We've waited long enough to hear this news, and, for it to finally happen, we just have one final wish: for them to stay strong and happy together—and maybe that we, too, get an invite?

Well, what do we have to say here other than congratulations for the success of every shipper and fandom out there? Let's continue rooting for more kilig moments like this for the coming years, yes?
