In this video, #AlyBorromeo still vividly remembers what it was like transferring to an all-boys school from abroad, only to become the subject of bullying and assaults for his lip. But the ex-Azkals captain shares he didn’t let it affect him that much, and instead used it as motivation to be more empathetic of those who have the same congenital situation. Now he is a proud ambassador of Operation Restore Hope, a surgical charity that helps Filipino children with cleft lip and palate.
