Looking after our mental health comes in many forms. Sometimes, it's about prioritizing ourselves through self-care or seeking help when all else fails. However, we're sure a lot of you will agree that one of the things that can easily soothe us from within is simply having a pet next us. This is why animal-assisted interventions are highly recommended for us who are experiencing daily stress and anxiety.
As we close Mental Health Month, we partnered with Communitails, an organization that provides this kind of intervention to various institutions especially schools and universities. And to experience the benefits of therapy dogs, we tapped mental health advocate and actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith to share with us her own journey while making new furry friends! In the latest episode of #ChalkGetsReal, find out more about Communitails and take some pieces of advice from Jasmine as she plays with the adorable pups Smith and Apollo!
