We all have our own morning routine, steps we take just to make sure we start our day right, right after getting up and out of our sweet haven of sleep. For the ever so perky actress-recording artist-vlogger Alex Gonzaga, it's just the usual: Shower, check her phone, eat breakfast, say a prayer.
But of all these, which is the most important? At the #QuakerDeliciousMornings event that she bannered recently, she stressed to ABS-CBN Lifestyle that in the age of personalized diets and healthier and more organic food options, it's always best not to skip breakfast.

"Na-experience ko na naligo ako, di ako kumain. Iba pa rin yung mood ko. It should come from within,” Alex said, recommending fiber and carbs-filled food to help you kick-start your day.

Squeeze in some exercise to your list, Alex added. "I want to add stretching, but I really don’t have time because I'd rather sleep!" she said with a laugh. If you're not a morning person, she said, try working out in the afternoon instead as what would matter anyway is the effort you give.
