ABS-CBN Lifestyle Asks: The Effortlessly Stylish Gerald Anderson On Millennial Fashion Trends

The ladies would certainly agree when we say Gerald Anderson is among the lucky ones who need not dress up to incite a reaction entering a room. Wearing his tanned skin, hard-to-achieve stubble, and billboard-worthy abs, dude's "sexy" in every way imagined so much so he can wear the most laid-back of all statements (say, white shirt, denim jeans, and sneakers) and still appear like the fine star that he is. (Un)fortunately for him, he is in an industry that values style foremost. And so often he has to get out of the bachelor's rut to don designer wear when attending balls and sport cool casuals during other appearances.

"Siguro by age nag-mature din sya," he tells ABS-CBN Lifestyle pertaining to his personal style. "As long as comfortable ako at presentable ako and mukha namang malinis, okay ako. Gusto ko yung nasusuot ko masusuot rin ng normal na tao, yung mga average na tao."

Already sure of what he wants to wear, Gerald isn't really one to dissect style to the last detail. But when it comes to millennial, disturbingly popular trends, he does have something to say. The Skechers ambassador reacts to some below!

What do you think of stripes?

"Yeah, minsan I'd wear it. Hindi madalas kasi usually plain ako eh—plain shirt in a plain color is enough."

"Okay din minsan, susuotin ko lang yan depende kung saan ako pupunta—like luaus!"

How about the ever notorious deep V-neck?

"Ha ha! Mas gusto ko round, eh!"

How about jumpsuits?

"Hindi, hindi ako masyado nyan eh! Ha ha! Tsaka masyado ring mainit dito sa Pilipinas para dyan!"
