The giant Christmas tree at the Times Square Food Park in Araneta Center has gotten everyone into the spirit of the season! With the theme “Christmas is Home,” the Christmas tree has over 3,000 LED light bulbs, an assortment of decors like birdcages with chandeliers, giant balls, giant bells, lighted poinsettias, and a seven-foot star topper. The tree lighting ceremony was graced by Sarah Geronimo, Vice Ganda, Darren Espanto, McCoy de Leon, TNT Boys, Janine Berdin, Vivoree Esclito and CK Kieron, Mojofly, Gretchen Ho among others. Bb. Pilipinas 2018 queens Catriona Gray, Jehza Huelar, Eva Patalinjug, Karen Gallman, and Michele Gumabao were also at the event, making visually impaired kids smile with white canes and a Christmas gift pack made possible through a partnership with the Parent Advocates for Visually Impaired Children.
Some families began the holiday season with Christmas choir performances, meet-and-greet session with Santa, live bands, DJs, and street performers at Okada Manila! During their Christmas tree lighting, Chorus Vocales sang some hymns as the Okada Manila Entertainment Group wowed the crowd with their performances. You can see their incredible Christmas tree at the Fountain Foyer in the Crystal Corridor.
The Manor at Camp John Hay had their Christmas tree lighting where guests were treated with good food, music, lights, and fireworks.
