Hot Stuff: Think You’re Too Young To Make A Change? Here's A Way To Get You Started!

In this digital age, millennials and Gen Zs usually keep up with the latest news online. We see Filipinos coming together on Facebook and Twitter to address various issues in the Philippines, but most of them think they are too young to actually act out their solutions. Take the price hikes in basic goods, for example. It could be one of the many factors that affect child malnutrition, creating difficulties for some kids to stay on top of their studies.

But the Filipino youth need not look far when it comes to ideas to inflict change. You can look for a good cause to support like the United For Healthier Kids, which aims to provide better lives for malnourished children.

The advocacy program has partnered with 10 local organizations that focus on nutrition, water, and nutrition education. Volunteers can take part in a feeding project, become a courier of clean water, assist schools in planting their own food, start a school or community kitchen, put up water and sanitation facilities, and share  knowledge on nutrition, water, and healthy habits, among others.
