Not many people know this, but on the day that the critically acclaimed box-office hit Crazy Rich Asians premiered in Beverly Hills, California, Kris Aquino (who played Princess Intan) was feeling under the weather. But it didn’t stop her from showing up—and doing so in designer style. The Queen of All Media werqed the red carpet in a yellow gown designed by Michael Leyva—the color and ribbon detail paid tribute not only to her late parents but of the Philippines and local creativity. #PinoyPride!

You know how, after a painful breakup, even the words you utter remind you of your ex? This is very dilemma Alex Gonzaga’s character faces in the upcoming flick Nakalimutan Ko Nang Kalimutan Ka. The actress-host plays Jaz Cruz, who turns to her best friend (Jerald Napoles) and Doctor Rolex (Candy Pangilinan) to remove memories of her ex by literally removing her heart. Written and directed by Fifth Solomon, and produced by Wilbros Films, it also stars Rufa Mae Quinto, Jayson Gainza, Loisa Andalio, Alora Sasam, Joj Agpangan, Jai Agpangan, Ricci Chan, Juan Miguel Severo, and Keiko Necesario. Catch it in cinemas on September 19!
Not to be outdone, Alex’s ate Toni Gonzaga extended support for Perla at the Redefining Basics: Perla Fashion Show in The Block, SM North Edsa last August. Thirty women from different walks of life strutted their stuff in stylish, all-white OOTDs. Those who were named winners of the show and prior Facebook and Instagram contest also got the chance to interact with the multihyphenate herself!

Ladies, we can all agree that bralettes are as cute as they are comfy. But because so many of them are unlined, unpadded, and unwired, they can seem daunting to wear and lack the support a regular bra gives. Some brands, however, have found ways to combine the benefits of both. The Maidenform Casual Comfort Wirefree Lift Bralette, for instance, is made with soft fabric with wire-free cups and a lightweight lift that flatters your chest like a bra but feels just like a bralette. We suggest pairing these godsends with next-to-nothing underwear, like the Undie-tectable® Lace Hi-Hipster Panty from Spanx. They’re easy on the waist, make your bum look good, and don’t leave any dreaded visible panty lines.
