Let’s be real—life can be tough sometimes. The challenges that come with it could make others feel down, alone, and uninspired to make their lives and their communities better. If you’re one of those people who couldn't help but doubt their power to spark positive change, Genfest 2018 is here to ignite your potential!
Genfest, a celebrated international meeting that cater to young people, takes place at the World Trade Center, Manila on July 6 to 8. The event seeks to further establish a “united world is an ideal worth living for,” with a number of workshops and forums tackling important topics such as peace, ecology, education, economy, arts, media, and politics.
With its roots in Italy back circa 1973, Genfest was from the prophetic intuition of Focolare Movement Chiara Lubich. The movement now encompasses 180 nations and has over 140,440 members belonging to the Roman Catholic church mostly, with ties to major Christian sects and other religions. The Manila event will be the first time it's staged in Asia and outside Europe.
