I’ve been to quite a few of Fête de la Musique’s celebrations a few years back and I think it's time for me to join the festivities once again. On it’s 24th year in the Philippines, Alliance Francaise de Manille brings to us, what I believe, is one of the biggest and most diverse musical extravaganzas in the country. It is grander than ever as it hosts seven main stages and 37 pocket stages of different genres of music just like how it has been known throughout the years. This year, it will be held in various cities across the country from Manila and Makati up to Laguna and Baguio.
The celebration starts early with a Pre-Fête show at Rizal Park on June 16, 2018, headlined by Chicosci along with several other local acts. This main stage show just like the others start as early as 4 PM all the way till midnight. Plus this year, for the first time, the festival is just right at your fingertips as you can now download the app, FETE PH, for both Apple and Android on your mobile phones to check the schedules, venues, and the lineup of all musical acts which includes Oh Flamingo!, Brass Pas Pas, and Baihana among hundreds of other talented local artists. Joining the celebration this year is French act Lady’s Symphony.
Brass Pas Pas
Fête De La Musique happens on June 16, 20, 29, and 30, 2018. Again, download the FETE PH app now and fix up your sound tripping schedule in this highly-anticipated musical festival. Thank me later as you claim your free San Miguel Beer with your app at the venues during the festivities. Santé! (Cheers!)
