The early 2000s proved to be an exciting time for Asian-American actress Kelly Hu career wise. In 2002, the former Miss Teen USA winner found herself tanned and decked out in slithery Sorceress gear seducing The Rock in The Scorpion King. A year later, she joined an X-Men movie via X2, sporting those lethal adamantium claws in his duels with Hugh Jackman. Around 2005-2006, she took on a badass detective hat on CSI: New York. She was just in her early 30s that time.
Now at 50 years old, Kelly seems as if she drew her good looks from the fountain of youth. The Hawaii-born actress and beauty queen arrived at the #TOYCON2018 held at the SMX in Pasay City rather glowin'—to the delight, of course, of X-Men fans. Kelly set foot in Manila with fellow Asian-American actors Dante Basco and Michael Copon and comic book industry institutions Neal Adams and Kevin Grevioux as the convention's special guests.

At the media launch, ABS-CBN Lifestyle got to ask her how she has maintained that "deceitful youth" over time.
"I have one secret: Don't have children!" she laughed. "I'm serious... Kids are great, I love 'em but I have the best life!"
Before the remark got dismissed to be a little offensive ('cause, you know, sensitivity these days), Kelly—who is reportedly single—went ahead and explained herself. "I get to sleep. My life is my own, my time is my own. I'm just so happy. I think what helps is just my whole attitude in life. I think I have the best life of anybody in the world and that sort of radiates!"
