Poles, dark rooms, male strippers, some sex objects, and a whole lot of candy and alcohol? Nuh-uh! Gone are those good-girls-gone-wild bachelorette parties, and in with the classier celebrations for our bride-to-be girlfriends! Here to show us how to do bridal showers beauty queen style is Miss Earth 2008 Karla Paula Henry, who is set to walk down the aisle with longtime love Rico Amman.
Together with her girl group, which included Miss Philippines Earth 2011 Athena Imperial and Miss Earth Water 2006 Catherine Vital, the beauty queen had the brilliant idea to hold a bachelorette bash-cum-pole sesh at Polecats Manila. Polecats is an instructional dance studio conducting Pole Fitness, Aerial Hoop, and Aerial Silks classes. It has become popular as it's open to just about anyone including self-confessed titas. And so it seemed easy for Karla and her gang to bring the party there! Yes, we are definitely taking notes—and these photos just make us wish we were part of the fun!
Probably took a few minutes to get everyone in the photo, but we are loving it! #doitforthegram.
How about an hour long pole fitness class to learn how to pose like this? Yes, please!
Party on a pole!
No bachelorette party would be complete without the right refreshments!
For her checklist: Sangrias, champagne, cake, fairy lights, and polaroids!
Don’t forget that portable photo booth frame!
Classy, never trashy. Get it, Kween Karla!
Dress code: White for the bride, black for the girls.
How’s this for a fun and definitely Instagram-worthy bachelorette party? We want to know ladies, what are some of the unconventional bridal showers you have attended?
