Halloween season has already passed, yet Cinema One Originals is more than ready than ever to face any kind of “fear.” Fitting to its “Walang Takot” theme this year, the indie movie festival proudly sticks to its core of producing quality local films that marry old and new in every sense of both words. Cinema One’s long-term vision: That the festival’s sense of cinematic taste and movement stirs more Filipino creators and audiences into quality filmmaking. And that it transcends time. One might choose to forget the recently-premiered, much-anticipated Hollywood film Justice League for authentic local cinema. But that’s just us...
Expect a plethora of films in festival, including two documentaries, two feature films, 13 foreign films, and restored classics. To many, though, the seven narrative films bannering it are the ones to incite the biggest thrill. Check out the trailers of the finalists here!
