Yesterday, the cast and crew of It's Showtime threw a surprise bridal shower for one of its hosts—future Mrs. Erwan Heussaff, Anne Curtis. The event obviously left the bride-to-be visibly overwhelmed so much so she shed a tear while thanking her fam for the effort.
One of Anne's closest friends on the show Vice Ganda documented enough for us to know what went on. The Unkabogable star shared the emotional episode in bits on Instagram Stories as it happened real-time, with fan accounts picking it up and reposting it for posterity.

Past the element of "surprise," the event saw a logistical feat—complete with a set, a bouquet, food and drinks, confetti, a veiled wedding tiara for Anne, and hot Hashtag men in a gyrating number. You know, pretty much what you'd expect in a bachelorette party.
But the bridal shower wouldn't have been complete without Anne's friends and co-hosts from It's Showtime, which she has been hosting for eight years now. Apart from Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Karylle, Amy Perez, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, and some Hashtag boys among others joined in the fun.
Just a few days back, Tiffany & Co. also held a rather intimate bridal shower for Anne. Karylle, Antoinette Taus, Nicole Anderson, and sister Jasmine Curtis Smith (also the host of the Breakfast at Tiffany's-inspired event) came to wish the bride-to-be the best.

Speaking of Jasmine, the maid of honor also partied with Anne and their closest friends away in L.A. more than a month ago as part of the pre-wedding "ceremonies." Liz Uy, Georgina Wilson, Belle Daza, and more were also spotted, painting the town red with their still-technically single "sister."
These bridal showers happening suspiciously too often now beg the question, "When will it be?" Anne has kept everything about her wedding in hush-hush since, with reasons validly playing around privacy. While she did share a little of it in her Metro Weddings cover shoot (we have insider info here!), there seems more we don't know that has left us half-confused and half-dying. Say, when she told us she might have some hints of K-Drama in her wedding, it seems that she has already gone past that with her adorable prenup shoot.
For the rest of us raring to find out more about our dear lady idol's wedding a.k.a. The Wedding of the Year, we're guessing we have no choice but to wait and see!
