Prior to Les Miserables, Rachelle Ann has showcased her excellence in theater after playing the role of Gigi Van Tranh in the musical Miss Saigon.
With the Asian Tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s production slated to start on March 2016 at The Theater at Solaire, this gives Filipinos the excitement to see one of our own homegrown talents showcase her internationally-acclaimed performance on stage.
“Over the last twenty-five years I have had a wonderfully rewarding relationship with Filipino talent, introducing the best of them to audiences around the world – so I’m thrilled that this time one of my productions can be seen in its full splendor in Manila,” Mackintosh said in a press release.
A multi-awarded play, Les Miserables is a musical set during the 19th century France, during the French Revolution. Aside from receiving multiple awards, Les Miserables is one of the most popular musicals of all time, with 70 million people from 42 countries watching the play.
Tickets will be on sale starting on September 29.
