Reading has always been a classic pastime for many. There are tons of genres to choose from, depending on your mood or preference. But if you’re a young adult looking for some inspiration in stories – both happy and sad, here are some novels for you that will surely warm your heart:


1.    Every Day by David Levithan (2012)

When A, a young spirit who transfers from one body to another every single day, eventually meets Rhiannon, everything changes. A unexpectedly finds himself wanting to be with Rhiannon day in and day out, no matter whose body he’s in, defying all rules he used to go by. While the two nearly stopped believing and opted to give up, they both find a new hope in each other’s presence.



5.    I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson (2015)

This is a story about family, love, loss, ambitions, and just everything about life – presented through two perspectives, told from different times. When the inseparable twins, Noah and Jude, started drifting apart, they both understood that life won’t always be a good one, but as long as they have each other, they knew that things will get better.
