Pushing for environmental concern as one of its core CSR initiatives, leading BPO company Concentrix Philippines traveled to the La Mesa Nature Reserve in Quezon City for its first ever tree-planting activity.
Concentrix volunteers from different Metro Manila sites gathered for half a day filled with trekking, tree-planting and team-building. The Concentrix employees assisted by the La Mesa Park staff, successfully bedded out 400 plants by lunchtime.
The tree-planting activity is just one of the major projects under Concentrix Philippines’ Go Green Initiative. Since the program launched in December last year, Concentrix has championed other endeavors such as waste segregation and energy conservation such as the air-conditioning automation project of its newer sites. It also held another environmentally-geared initiative last April - a fun run that earned more than $1,000 donation for the World Wildlife Fund among other beneficiaries.

The Go Green Initiative is a sustainable program of Concentrix Philippines as the company believes that energy-reliant BPO companies should do their part in giving back to the environment.
Concentrix Philippines’ other CSR initiatives are focused on children’s welfare and education, both of which the company has also been actively sustaining this year.
