Metro recently launched its August issue, with actress Bea Alonzo front and center on the cover.
We’ve watched Bea metamorphose with every character she’s played—from the complex Basha in One More Chance and A Second Chance, the headstrong Jackie in Maging Sino Ka Man, the dignified Sari in The Mistress, to her current role as hardworking Andeng in A Love To Last. In what Metro calls its Statement Issue, the 29-year-old beauty looks back at how her life has changed as she talks celebrating her womanhood and embracing every moment that made her who she is.
The issue also pays tribute to prominent people in society such as the awe-inspiring fashion designer Rocky Gathercole and Jessica Diaz Wilson, who, despite coming from a famous family, is fast carving a name of her own.
Other features include a style analysis of both the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, as well as that of her daughter, Ivanka. And with the Pre-Fall season now upon us, Metro offers a well-curated guide of the latest fashion trends, standout brands, and beauty tips.
